About The Owner:

William has been a teacher for the past 20 years. Currently he owns training centers in China with over 2500 students. Having been overseas for a long time, he saw the differences in what China was doing in Science and Math subjects. With his own children in schools in the United States, he saw a marked difference in ability of children in classes in Math and Science. He also saw how classes in China that were using LEGO bricks to stimulate students’ minds including his own son’s, were definitely invigorating to the student. They were always looking forward to engage and figure out how the projects develop and would get a sense of pride and accomplishment when a model was complete. They were truly learning new concepts in STEM without it feeling boring and tedious. This is really very underestimated in education when everything is correlated to a test score. There is no replacement for interest. Students excel when they are interested. Learning becomes fun!

With this knowledge, William searched for the right program that would actually TEACH children concepts in STEM but yet still have a very high hands-on participation factor and role during a normal class session. Also specialization in using one vehicle of transmission for teaching was very important to him. e2 Young Engineers was a “no brainer” for him after research in many different types of training centers utilizing LEGO bricks as a core building block of a program.

William is part of the Allen/McKinney community where he resides and have children attending school. He is an active PTA member at his children’s elementary school and an avid model maker and a home-do-it-yourself kind of person. His hobbies range from building models, PC gaming, sport shooting, and movie watching. With thousands of students having gone through his classes, and numerous students studying all over the world, William has indeed found the love of his life in teaching.
